(URGENT) Senior Business Analyst (Operations & Strategy) (40-60k)

The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role for our client’s overall business operations & strategy working closely with the internal business development, operations & engineering teams, and external clients & partners to have a thorough understanding of the business needs while monitoring and prioritizing product planning & execution. The Business Operations Analyst will report directly to the CEO and is required to effectively lead a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end system development project activities including requirements gathering, workflow design, issue tracking, system and user acceptance testing and post-launch maintenance

  • Engage in consulting exercises with clients and internal stakeholders to enable identifying their true needs

  • Lead a cross-functional team to effectively identify, prioritize and solve critical issues

  • Support the Product & Engineering Team in shaping the long-term strategy and roadmap of the product. Possess a deep understanding of the team product in terms of its users, business value, technical landscape, data, vendors, and how it relates to other areas of the larger our system

  • Work with the Business Development & Relationship Management teams to optimize the operational aspects of the client journey

  • Align the needs of clients with existing platform features. Facilitate discussions with UI/UX Design teams, Engineering teams, and Clients to solve gaps in capabilities into strategic re-usable solutions for the core platform

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related disciplines

  • At least 4 years of experience in business analysis, project management and/or product management

  • Ideally have experience from IT or management consultancy in managing complex implementations or roll out

  • Experience in Financial Services, FinTech, B2B SaaS, Portfolio Management System and in a startup environment a definite plus

  • Strong ability to bridge & manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships

  • Proficient in business process modeling, documentation, and customer experience journey

  • Ability to understand complex requirements, to transform requirements into solutions, and to describe requirements in a structured way

  • Experience of being an agile practitioner either as a product owner or as a scrum team member, with strong capability in the structuring of requirements in the form of epics/user stories a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to present and explain technical information

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Experience and knowledge in blockchain and cryptocurrencies is a plus

  • A strong desire to build a career in blockchain and digital assets is a must

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must, Cantonese is a plus

(URGENT) Senior Compliance Analyst (30-35k)

Reporting to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) of the Stored Value Facility (“SVF”) Licensee in the our client group who is based in Hong Kong, this role will see supporting our elite and innovative compliance team. Supporting newest entity, Unicard, as a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will be a vital member operationalizing client's compliance program. We see Compliance as a service to our business teams and our customers, and we get excited about innovation and collaboration. You are passionate about supporting our compliance team across a great variety of work and no task will be too big or small. Your attention to detail and your ability to take initiative is what sets you apart. In here, you will be partnered with internal teams to design, develop, implement, execute, and monitor screening and monitoring rules detecting and mitigating AML risks. What you will be doing

  • Provide general support to the compliance team for Unicard SVF related matters to ensure the compliance program is comply with regulatory requirements, in particular requirements under Unicard SVF license;

  • Assist in the day to day compliance operations, including regulatory reporting, customer onboarding, transaction monitoring, screening etc.

  • Assist in reviewing and updating compliance manuals, policies and procedures;

  • Work with stakeholders, including legal and regulatory and licensing, operations, risk management functions on regulatory inquiries;

  • Document filings and maintain document database;

  • Ad hoc duties

  • Proactive, pleasant, team player, with strong communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint
